The programs will take place on September 19th in Moscow and on September 18th in St. Petersburg, and are expected to attract the participation of 150 representatives.
Vietnamese representatives include the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia, leaders from the Department’s of Culture, Sport and Tourism of cities and provinces, Vietnamese domestic businesses and Vietnamese businesses in Russia. Russian representatives will be comprised of tourism officials, businesses, tour operators and travel agents.
During the two days of the programmes, many attractive activities will be performed such as exchanges of businesses from the two countries, greetings from Vietnam’s Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Hoang Anh Tuan, introductions on Vietnam tourism along with art and fashion performances.
These programmes are considered an opportunity for Vietnam tourism to be promoted in Russia, attracting more Russian tourists to Vietnam and helping Vietnamese businesses access the market.
In the first eight months this year, the number of Russian tourists to Vietnam increased nearly 15 percent against the same period last year.
